Exactly five years ago, the first concert of the young generation pianist Gabrielė Sutkutė, the famous German conductor Markus Huber and the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra took place at the Kaunas State Philharmonic. That time, the precision of the soloist and the mastery of this wonderful conductor came together incredibly well into a single musical harmony. The Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra highly appreciates the many years of friendship with musicians, so inspired by pleasant musical experiences, they invited these two musicians to create an unforgettable, cozy concert filled with love for music.
On February 14 is celebrated St. Valentine’s Day. The main tradition of this holiday is to express words of love, to give gifts to your beloved and dear people. Jean Sibelius said: “Music begins where the possibilities of language end.” So this concert is a wonderful musical gift for both the audience and the performers themselves.
